Sensors – key elements in the new world of digitalisation

The human body has five senses and communicates via nerve cells to the brain. Today, in modern times of digitalization, internet-of-things and industry 4.0 the sensors are the eyes, the ears and the skin of many different applications. How do they work, how do they transmit information and what kind of new applications are being expected?

This event will open your eyes on new technologies and let you imagine the future. Sensors with ultra-low power consumption will boost novel applications and smart, long-range communication will be the next step for ubiquitous usage.

How will humans interact with these new opportunities? Will we be technology controlled “cyborgs” or will there be a new, fascinating human-machine interaction? And what kind of business needs and opportunities will arise?

This event will not only answer questions, but it will provide room for new questions and fruitful discussions. It aims at innovators, entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts who want to get ideas and be prepared for the new, connected world.

Local companies are invited to display their company and products with a roll-up and a small table. Please send any requests to ralf.notexisting@nodomain.comduempelmann@baselarea.notexisting@nodomain.comswiss.
