Where: Novartis Campus Fabrikstrasse 4, 4056 Basel
Future of Healthcare in the Digital Society
Digital technologies are drastically changing the life science and healthcare industry at all levels: research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, caregivers, and payers must find a way to navigate between hype, buzzwords and hard evidence-based facts.
During the symposium, two challenges for the present and future of digital healthcare will stand at the center:
- The skills that we need to learn and teach to educate people from both the public and the private sector to enable them to solve the challenges in healthcare digitalization.
- A “reality-check” for digital health. What are promising or successful approaches to getting better and more personalized diagnostics and treatments for patients, and what is just a hype or still very far from reality?
The first “skills” session of the symposium will be co-chaired by the University of Basel and the Yonsei University. The “reality check” session is hosted by the CEO of Artidis, one of the most brilliant startups in digital health, based in Basel.
