The four site development projects in life sciences, innovation, industry and business have been unveiled as 3D models at the 4th Investor Meeting Canton Basel-Landschaft, announced the canton in a statement.
Among the projects is BaseLink Allschwil, which will generate a life sciences research and development site at Bachgraben in Allschwil. The land is owned by Bürgerspital Basel, whose member of the board Rafael Ernst spoke about the latest developments at the meeting.
There is also Uptown Basel Arlesheim, a project to create a centre of excellence for robotics and industry 4.0 at the former ABB site in Arlesheim by 2020. In January 2019, Tri innova Pratteln will see a business quarter for innovative companies emerge in Pratteln. Lastly, Rheinlehne Pratteln will build five office blocks by 2023. An anchor tenant has already been secured.
According to the canton, these four development projects showcase the canton’s dynamism. The canton also has several business plots available for varying requirements, it said.
