With its product Simpego, Creadi is offering a tailor-made travel insurance to mark the launch of its new platform. Household, car and life insurance are to follow, though the principle will always remain the same: The customer receives only those services that he or she actually requires – and pays only for those. The transaction is uncomplicated and completed online, according to a company statement announcing the launch of the new platform.
The insurtech startup is working to make insurance easier and smarter with its offer, as can already be seen in its first product: the smart travel insurance. It is meant to adapt to a customer’s plans, thus offering suitable insurance coverage for anywhere from an adventure holiday for one to a holiday for the entire family. Simpego only selected insurance companies that meet its high standards in order to be able to offer hand-picked protection.
The platform will be continuously developed and new insurance policies as well as new categories are also planned. “This is how we drive our vision of making insurance completely transparent and simple,” according to the Basel-based company’s website.
