Property valuation apps launched

Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) and Bank Cler, which belongs to the BKB Group, have each launched an app for property valuation. They can value properties on the basis of photos.

Users of the two new apps BKB Home Scan and Bank Cler Quanto can use their mobile phone to take pictures of the single-family home or flat that they are interested in. Shortly afterwards they will receive an initial brief valuation of the property, including a value range for a typical property at the corresponding location, according to BKB and Bank Cler.

The valuation can be made more accurate by specify the plot size, net living area, number of rooms and year of construction. Users can also receive a PDF version of the valuation by email.

Both apps can be downloaded free of charge and are unique in Switzerland. They are available in the Google Play Store as well as the App Store.
