Clinerion expands its global coverage

The Basel-based startup Clinerion is expanding its patient recruit system by adding 60 million patients in North America. A strategic partnership with Provisio also gives Clinerion access to the U.S. company’s data analytics tools.

Clinerion’s Patient Recruitment System (PRS) finds suitable candidates for clinical trials by aligning patient data from clinics, giving patients faster access to innovative treatments. Provisio’s Outreach Assistance service is also a data analytics tool but for patient data in the U.S.

The two companies have now announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership, adding 60 million patients in the U.S. to the Basel-based startup’s PRS. Clinerion will also have access to Provisio’s Outreach Assistance services, further expanding its patient recruitment capabilities.

Clinerio has expanded its portfolio of health data over the past 12 months to patients in Europe, Asia and South America. The new partnership with Provisio significantly expands Clinerion’s coverage in North America.

“We are thrilled to have Provisio as our partner in the USA,” said Ulf Claesson, CEO of Clinerion. “Not only do they provide us with the means to expand our service offering to the important U.S. market, but they will become a key local resource in the U.S. for Clinerion. This is the next step for Clinerion in the Americas.”

Clinerion’s coverage currently compromises almost 80 million patients.
